Overview

Our Opportunity

Come join the 1NA (One North America) Procurement Team as a Senior Manager executing sourcing strategies to enhance PepsiCo’s Dips competitive advantage in the marketplace (i.e. Sabra, Tostitos etc.).  This Procurement role will engage cross functionally to lead strategy setting & execution as well as oversee stakeholder engagement and alignment throughout the end-to-end sourcing process.  Fresh Dips is an area where PepsiCo is taking big swings, and this role is focused on understanding and becoming a subject matter expert on our Sabra business (fresh dips leader!) so we can build on the amazing momentum that exists to expand offerings.  There will be opportunities to not only build the overall sourcing strategy and manage innovations but also bring sustainability objectives to life across the materials sourced.

This person will need to report into one of our hubs 3 day/week- Purchase, NY, Plano, TX, Chicago, IL or South Chesterfield, VA. 


Responsibilities
  • Lead global sourcing strategy for a $60MM+ directmaterials portfolio, developing category strategies, managing supplier selection, and delivering yearoveryear cost savings through disciplined planning and negotiation.
  • Manage the full 7Step Strategic Sourcing Process, including scope definition, market analysis (RFI/RFP), bid design, supplier proposal evaluation, and final recommendation to leadership.
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies with crossfunctional input, securing competitive pricing, favorable terms, and strong contractual protections aligned with PepsiCo’s Contract Review & Approval Policy.
  • Lead crossfunctional productivity initiatives from ideation through supplier engagement, qualification/validation, financial reporting, and postexecution control to deliver measurable cost reductions.
  • Own Annual Operating Plan, building materiallevel budgets, forecasting cost drivers, and partnering with Finance to reconcile forwardlooking estimates through the Latest Estimate (LE) process.
  • Lead Supply Chain Risk Management for the COGS portfolio by mapping risk exposure, reducing sole/singlesource dependencies, increasing contracted spend, and building mitigation plans by category.
  • Sourcing lead for StageGate innovation, partnering with R&D and Marketing to identify sourcing options, assess risk, engage suppliers, and establish cost inputs for P&Ls.
  • Oversee Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), conducting annual relationship assessments, evaluating supplier engagement and strategic alignment, and advising leadership on partnership health for critical categories.
  • Support supplier performance management by shaping the Supplier Scorecard Program and using scorecard insights to drive accountability and improvement with the vendor base.
  • Collaborate with Co-Man team to evaluate MakevsBuy assessments to determine optimal manufacturing strategies for new and existing products.
  • Manage supplier onboarding, ensuring completion of NDAs, financial viability assessments, sustainability profiles, Supplier Code of Conduct execution, SAP/EDI setup, and insurance documentation.
  • Serve as a key partner to Legal in contract development, maintaining expertise in supplyagreement language and deploying standardized templates for ingredients, packaging, and comanufacturing.
  • Monitor commodity markets and comanufacturing cost drivers, synthesizing macro/microeconomic trends, geopolitical factors, and foodsafety considerations into actionable sourcing recommendations.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,500 - $206,750.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, or related field required. Advanced degree (Masters or MBA) preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, and/or Finance.
  •  Experience in CPG and/or Food Processing industry, working knowledge of ingredient & packaging material categories and Contract Manufacturers
  • Professional certifications preferred; CPM, APICS-CPIM, LSS, PMP.
  • High proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel domestic, up to 30%.
