The Account Executive is responsible for driving new business acquisition through targeted prospecting and strategic account expansion. This role focuses on generating new opportunities through networking, referrals, and partner engagement. The Account Executive plays a critical role in delivering exceptional client experience, developing customized solutions, and contributing to Knight Watchโ€™s overall revenue growth.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development & Expansion

  • Identify and pursue new logo opportunities through collaboration, referral networks, and proactive prospecting.
  • Conduct discovery, qualification, and early-stage solution scoping with prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline through outreach, networking, and market engagement.

Solution Design & Proposal Leadership

  • Partner with Solution Architects, Sales Engineers, Account Managers, and Project Managers to design tailored client solutions.
  • Lead proposal development, pricing discussions, and solution presentations with internal team support.
  • Ensure all proposals and scopes of work accurately reflect client needs, budgets, and expectations.

Pipeline & CRM Excellence

  • Maintain accurate and disciplined CRM records, including opportunity stages, forecasting, and activity tracking.
  • Ensure forecast reliability by consistently updating pipeline data and adhering to Knight Watch sales processes.
  • Leverage CRM insights to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary commercial point of contact within the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate with operations, engineering, project management, and sales support teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Partner with leadership to share client feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience & Background

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account executive roles, or business development.
  • Proven success in new business development and accurate CRM forecasting.
  • Experience selling technology solutions, integration services, or managed services is preferred.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive relationship-building skills.
