Regional Manager About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead business growth, operational performance, and client relationships within a growing commercial construction environment.

This leadership role is responsible for driving regional business development initiatives, supporting project delivery teams, and ensuring operational excellence across a portfolio of construction projects. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the leadership team, helping to identify new opportunities, strengthen client partnerships, and support the continued growth of the business.

Regional Manager Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Growth

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, developers, subcontractors, and industry partners.
  • Identify, pursue, and help secure new commercial construction opportunities.
  • Support proposal development, presentations, and client engagement activities.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership and preconstruction teams to evaluate and prioritize project pursuits.

Operations Leadership

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support successful project delivery related to schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in project reviews, forecasting, and operational planning.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating project and business risks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and client outcomes.

Team Leadership

  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing work environment.
  • Coach, mentor, and support the professional development of team members.

Regional Manager Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience within commercial construction, design-build, project management, operations, business development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success developing client relationships and securing new business opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction delivery methods, contracts, risk management, and project execution.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related discipline is considered an asset.

Preferred Experience

  • Commercial, institutional, industrial, or mixed-use construction experience.
  • Design-build and preconstruction experience.
  • Experience working with developers, consultants, and subcontractor networks.
  • P&L, budgeting, or operational leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience supporting regional growth initiatives.
