Position Summary

The Front of the House Manager is responsible for leading all front-of-house operations while ensuring every guest receives an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to building a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily front-of-house operations, including dining room, bar, and host stand.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, and develop service staff.
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through visible floor leadership.
  • Monitor labor costs and create efficient schedules.
  • Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and overall restaurant appearance.
  • Oversee opening, shift change, and closing procedures.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and create memorable recovery experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Monitor cash handling, POS operations, and daily financial reporting.
  • Coach staff on upselling techniques and maximizing guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen management to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Assist with private events, promotions, and community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service restaurant.
  • Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, and guest service.
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory, and cost controls.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Toast POS, Sling Scheduling, or similar systems is preferred.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
