JOB OVERVIEW

The Program Specialist I - Strategic Programs - is responsible for the analysis and timely management of Registrations for deployed and redeployed client-owned vehicles managed by Wheels. They will also provide expert level support to internal and external customers while maintaining integrity in a fast-paced, high-volume transaction environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Meets Client SLAs.
  • Regularly communicates with clients, transport vendors, etc in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintains compliance requirements for the vehicles' registrations, renewals, replacements, state changes, and temporary tags
  • Works and resolves escalations. Researches and determines root cause of issues or failures and works to reduce exposure that could result in an operational loss.
  • Works closely with the Deployment & Redeployment teams to ensure vehicles have valid registrations and are delivered to DSPs with appropriate/current plates/registrations.
  • Ships all registrations and license plates to transport vendors and DSP's after confirming vehicle location.
  • Follows up with DSPs via email and phone to confirm receipt of plates and registrations.
  • Maintaining smartsheets on plates/registrations/decals received and sent out.
  • Requests replacement plates and registrations as needed.
  • Attends Transport vendor meetings
  • Other Duties
    • Assists with special requests, reports, calls and service cloud case inquiries concerning deployed and redeployed vehicles for our strategic clients.
    • Gains an understanding of the function and the role it plays in the business via trainings (online, classroom, etc.) and walk a mile with relating departments.
    • Assists others within the department during peak periods and to cover absences
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma required, but college degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years' office experience required, vehicle registration experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years' experience in client-facing role strongly preferred.
  • Microsoft Office experience required - intermediate Excel skills required (Pivot tables & VLOOKUP).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively, use time wisely and avoid distractions to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility. Must be able to adapt to change in priorities at any moment to support client needs.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: This position is in Alpharetta, GA and operates in a professional office environment.
Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Travel: No travel is expected for this position
Physical Demands: Speak, hear, and see, and to use hand and fingers for computer keyboard and phone. Sit or stand for extended periods of time. Reach above head to pull paper attachments.

Pay Range:

$40,500-$56,700

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
