Job Summary
This role within the Employee Resource Center provides first point of contact support to employees, leaders, and HR peer groups on HR related issues, programs, policies, and processes. Provides the highest level of customer service through interaction with employees, leaders, and HR peer groups through telephone, electronic, and case management systems (phone calls, case management, chatbot).
Individual tasks and processes include but are not limited to:
  • Full life cycle of employment transactions and support;
  • Compliance documentation;
  • Payroll inquiries;
  • Time administration inquiries and support;
  • Benefit transactions;
  • Military leave and Veteran Affairs program administration;
  • HR emergency relief and response support;
  • Special payment and expense processing;
  • HRIS role inquiries;
  • Legal human resource inquiries;
  • HR policy inquiries;
  • Government and internal audit support;
  • Service award administration;
  • Termination and access revocation tracking;Education assistance processing and administration;
  • Verification of employment inquiries;
  • Government benefit processing assistance;
  • Offboarding;
  • Onboarding;
  • General document management;
  • General inquiry responses.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
  • 2+ years of related experience;
  • Strong employee-facing customer service skills;
  • Knowledge of human resources policies and programs;
  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to explain complex policies in simple terms;
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy;
  • Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workloads;
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking;
  • Time management and prioritization;
  • Cross-functional collaboration (payroll, benefits, legal, HRBPs);
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced shared services environment.

Preferred skills:
  • HR case management experience (e.g., handling employee inquiries via ticketing systems);
  • Experience with ServiceNow and/or SuccessFactors;
  • Experience with military leave management, including supporting military-affiliated employees and interpreting military orders/documentation;
  • Familiarity with USERRA compliance;
  • GI Bill program knowledge;
  • Vendor coordination (especially with DoD/VA-related programs).

Education Requirements
Required Degree (equivalency not accepted in lieu of required degree): High School Graduate or GED
