Position Overview

Livewell Therapy is actively seeking a Fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist for a full-time remote position based out of our Macon, Georgia office. This role is designed for an enthusiastic and dedicated mental health professional eager to provide compassionate care and support to individuals navigating their mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will hold a current license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), allowing them to deliver impactful therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to identify the mental health needs of clients, tailoring individualized treatment plans that align with each client's goals and challenges.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices, to facilitate healing and growth.
  • Engage in collaborative care by working closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to client welfare.
  • Offer crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, utilizing crisis management techniques to de-escalate situations and ensure immediate support.
  • Participate in community outreach efforts, hosting workshops and seminars to foster mental health education and awareness throughout Macon-Bibb County and beyond.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our ideal therapist will work with a wide array of clientele, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families struggling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications
  • Possess a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Hold a masterโ€™s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
