About the Role

We're seeking a Quality Manager to take the lead on a high-profile data center construction project in Northwest Indiana. This is a hands-on, on-site role where you'll be the driving force behind building excellence—ensuring every system, structure, and finish meets the demanding standards of a mission-critical facility.

As the project's quality champion, you'll work side-by-side with project leaders, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure flawless execution—from planning through turnover. If you're passionate about construction quality, love solving complex technical challenges, and take pride in doing things right the first time, this is the opportunity to make your mark.

What You'll Do
  • Own the Quality Plan: Partner with project teams to develop and implement a project-specific Quality Management Plan that meets client expectations and supports data center performance standards.

  • Be the Expert: Review construction documents, submittals, and shop drawings to flag constructability issues and opportunities for improvement before they impact the field.

  • Lead from the Field: Conduct regular inspections and quality walks, ensuring all installations meet design intent, specifications, and industry best practices.

  • Empower Subcontractors: Collaborate with trade partners to build and execute their own quality control programs—driving accountability across every tier of the project.

  • Champion Testing & Commissioning: Oversee field testing, ASTM compliance, and system validation, ensuring everything functions flawlessly before turnover.

  • Promote Continuous Improvement: Identify trends, track non-conformances, and implement practical solutions that improve outcomes and efficiency.

  • Mentor and Educate: Train and coach project team members on construction quality, workflow, and sequencing—helping raise the bar across the entire site.

  • Lead Pre-Install & Mock-Up Reviews: Set expectations early by leading mock-up evaluations and establishing clear benchmarks for craftsmanship and performance.

  • Document & Communicate: Deliver detailed reports, field photos, and corrective action plans to ensure issues are addressed quickly and effectively.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in construction quality management, testing, or inspection—data center or mission-critical experience a huge plus.

  • Deep understanding of construction documents, specifications, and submittals.

  • Knowledge of ASTM standards, QA/QC testing, and electrical/mechanical/life safety systems.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with an eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement.

  • Confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Northwest Indiana and navigate an active construction site safely.

Why Join Us?
