Job description

Next Level Technician is seeking an experienced Data Center Construction Manager to lead structured cabling projects throughout Northern Virginia's rapidly growing data center market. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong field management, structured cabling, and mission critical construction experience.



Local Candidates Only – Must be able to travel throughout the Northern Virginia / DC Metro area. No relocation assistance provided

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead daily field operations, subcontractors, and structured cabling crews across active data center projects
  • Conduct site surveys, review construction drawings, manage material deliveries, and coordinate project resources
  • Ensure quality, safety, scheduling, and project execution while serving as the technical expert onsite


What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of construction experience with 3+ years supporting data center environments
  • Strong structured cabling background with experience managing field crews and subcontractors
  • Knowledge of EIA/TIA standards, construction processes, and data center infrastructure


Preferred Qualifications:

  • BICSI and/or RCDD
  • CommScope, Hilti, Tyco, or Panduit
  • Microsoft Project experience
  • Construction Management or Project Management course work
