About the role
The Data Center Construction Scheduler is responsible for supporting the planning, scheduling, and execution of large-scale data center construction projects. This role ensures that all phases of construction are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with budgetary and resource constraints.
What you'll do
  • Develop, manage, and update detailed construction schedules.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and project managers to gather input and update project timelines.
  • Integrate procurement and permitting timelines into the master project schedule.
  • Analyze schedule impacts due to design changes, field conditions, or delays and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Generate and distribute regular schedule reports, including look-aheads, critical path analyses, and schedule risk assessments.
  • Facilitate scheduling meetings and coordinate across multiple stakeholders to maintain alignment on milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor progress and flag potential schedule risks, bottlenecks, or delays early.
  • Ensure all schedules comply with contractual obligations, project goals, and client expectations.
  • Support earned value analysis, productivity tracking, and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in project closeout by documenting final schedules, lessons learned, and performance metrics.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in construction scheduling, with at least 2 years on data center or mission-critical facility projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, phases, and typical sequencing, especially in MEP-intensive environments.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
