Entry Level Data Center Technician

Looking to start your career in the Data Center and Low Voltage industry? Next Level Technician is urgently hiring Entry Level Data Center Technicians for a long-term opportunity in Jeffersonville, IN. This is a great opportunity for individuals with 2–3 months of electrical, cabling, or construction experience who are looking to grow within the booming data center industry. Pay ranges from $17–$22/hour based on experience, with opportunities for advancement and hands-on training. As an Entry Level Data Center Technician, you will work on large-scale commercial and industrial projects while gaining experience with structured cabling, fiber optics, and data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with pulling, routing, dressing, and labeling low-voltage and fiber optic cabling
  • Support installation teams with data center build-outs and infrastructure projects
  • Use basic hand tools and follow installation standards
  • Assist with material staging, site organization, and cleanup
  • Follow all site safety requirements and properly utilize PPE
  • Work alongside experienced technicians to develop technical skills
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
Requirements
  • 2–3 months of electrical, cabling, construction, or related experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of hand and power tools
  • Strong interest in building a career in the data center or low-voltage industry
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on active construction sites
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site
  • Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Safety-minded attitude and willingness to take direction
