This role is based at one of our corporate offices in McLean, VA, Dallas, TX or Memphis, TN
This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Technology team that's creating consumer-facing, cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry around the world! As a Senior Manager Data Architecture,you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Enterprise Architecture & Data Operations team reporting to the Director Data Architecture, you will support projects including new business initiatives by shaping high-level requirements and delivering data design and technical solutions.
What you'll do during a typical day:
  • Gather and refine business requirements, translating needs into clear, actionable data architecture inputs.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture standards, patterns, and best practices, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Assess impacts to existing data systems, pipelines, and reporting, identifying risks and dependencies across the data landscape.
  • Define data needs and design scalable, high-level architecture solutions while simplifying legacy environments to support modernization.
  • Guide the architectural direction of AI/ML-driven data solutions (e.g., RAG pipelines, vector and graph databases, knowledge platforms), ensuring they align with enterprise data standards and scale across the data landscape.

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Develop and manage project plans that balance business priorities, resource constraints, and delivery timelines.
  • Partner with data leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to share insights, align on solutions, and drive informed decision-making.

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:
  • Monitor project progress through implementation, identifying risks and proactively communicating status and mitigation plans to program leadership.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
  • Seven (7) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Five (5) years of specialized experience in data engineering, analytics, or architecture
  • Five (5) years of experience managing teams or projects
  • Knowledge of and experience with Cloud, hybrid environments, and data platforms
  • This is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis)
  • Travel up to 10% as needed

It would be useful if you have:
  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • Ten (10)+ years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • Travel/hospitality industry experience

The pay range for this role is $120,000 - $175,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
