  • Support data catalog configuration, metadata ingestion, source-system integration, and governance workflow design.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analytics engineers, business owners, and platform teams to align governance with delivery needs.
  • Produce governance roadmaps, operating procedures, decision records, data standards, and adoption materials.

Education and Experience:

  • Experience facilitating data ownership decisions with business, technical, cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Ability to document data standards, architecture decisions, governance procedures, and implementation plans.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to make governance actionable rather than theoretical.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience integrating governance platforms with Snowflake, BI tools, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, or enterprise identity systems.
  • Knowledge of NIST, FISMA, privacy, records management, and data classification concepts relevant to federal environments.
  • Experience with data mesh, domain stewardship, master data, reference data, or data product operating models.
