Job description

Who We're Looking For
Megazone Cloud is looking for a Data Engineer to be a backbone of our data-driven culture. You are a "builder" with a true thirst for knowledge and a startup mentality. You're not afraid to be a "jack of all trades" and you thrive in an environment where you can think fast and see your work directly impact customers. You have a strong background in data wrangling and are an expert in Databricks or Snowflake, with deep skills in Python, SQL, and AWS.
What You'll Do
  • Design, build, and scale: Create and maintain resilient, high-performance data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS.
  • Own the data ecosystem: Master our data environment, leveraging Databricks and/or Snowflake to wrangle, transform, and prepare data for analysis and product use.
  • Write mission-critical code: Develop clean, optimized, and automated solutions using Python and SQL to solve complex data challenges.
  • Collaborate and multiply: Work as a "force multiplier" within our cross-functional teams, partnering with data science, development, and infrastructure to tackle big-picture projects.
  • Be a flexible builder: Embrace a "builder" mentality. In a startup, you'll have the flexibility to work on diverse challenges and your ideas will be heard, from intern to executive.
What You Bring (Requirements)
  • 3-5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
  • 2-3+ years of hands-on experience with Python.
  • 2-3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL.
  • Proven, professional experience with Databricks OR Snowflake (certifications or experience with both is a huge plus).
  • Solid experience building and managing data solutions on AWS.
  • Proven experience in data wrangling and building robust data pipelines.
  • A "builder" mindset, a startup mentality, and a genuine thirst for knowledge.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the flexibility to think fast.
  • A strong team-player mentality, with experience navigating team dynamics and collaborating effectively to solve problems.
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)
  • Experience with GenAI, AI/ML frameworks, and MLOps.
  • Certifications in Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS.
Why You'll Love It Here
  • Our Product is Our People: We live by this. We invest in people who invest in themselves. Your growth is our growth.
  • True Servant Leadership: Our CTO leads with a "force multiplier" philosophy. Management is here to empower you and clear roadblocks, not to micromanage. We won't ask you to do anything we're not willing to do ourselves.
  • Flat Organization, Real Impact: Your voice and designs will directly shape our technical roadmap and our clients' success. You'll work on the latest tech to solve real problems.
  • A "Learn-from-it" Culture: We're moving fast and building new things. We believe mistakes are learning opportunities, not failures.

We seek diverse talent who are ready to make an immediate impact. We believe that innovation thrives when teams are built with a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. If you are excited by this mission, we encourage you to apply, even if your experience doesn't perfectly match every qualification listed.
Megazone Cloud is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify to confirm the employment eligibility of all new hires.
