Job description

Title: Interactive Content Producer – Sales Enablement & Training (Contract)

Pay Rate: $60 - $64/hr

Location: Hybrid (Cupertino, CA)

Duration: 12-month assignment

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Interactive Content Producer to support the creation, publishing, and delivery of digital training and sales enablement content for global audiences. This role sits at the intersection of content production, publishing operations, and platform execution, requiring a strong balance of creative, technical, and organizational expertise.

You will own the full content lifecycle — from content strategy and development through publishing and quality assurance — ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and optimized for large-scale global delivery. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, technically savvy, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead production of interactive training and sales enablement content from concept through final delivery
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop custom courseware and audience-specific learning content
  • Research and analyze content, develop outlines and scripts, and guide projects from initial concept through final delivery
  • Translate briefs, product information, and strategic direction into structured, audience-appropriate content
  • Manage production timelines, asset tracking, and deliverable reviews across multiple concurrent projects
  • Create, edit, and manipulate content assets including XML, HTML, audio, and digital media files
  • Edit, proofread, and perform quality assurance testing to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with editorial and brand standards
  • Publish and maintain content within CMS and internal publishing platforms, including tagging, QA, and content validation
  • Own end-to-end publishing workflows to ensure assets launch accurately and function properly
  • Collaborate with developers and technical teams to troubleshoot publishing or platform-related issues
  • Support platform enhancements through structured testing, feedback, and documentation
  • Identify opportunities for automation, AI integration, and publishing efficiency improvements
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and global partners throughout the content lifecycle

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in content production, publishing, instructional content, or related technical content environments
  • Strong experience working within CMS platforms, web applications, and publishing systems
  • Experience writing and producing deadline-driven creative or instructional content
  • Strong understanding of content production workflows from briefing through publishing
  • Experience editing, proofreading, and performing quality assurance reviews
  • Familiarity with HTML, XML, or related programming languages and structured content systems
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience producing interactive or digital customer-facing content
  • Familiarity with localization workflows and global publishing considerations
  • Background in instructional design, editorial, or sales enablement content
  • Experience contributing feedback to platform or tooling development teams
  • Familiarity with automation, AI tools, or publishing optimization strategies
