Position Details:
Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical Company in Summit, NJ is currently looking for a Formulations Scientist to join their expanding team.
Job Title: Formulations Scientist / Cosmetics Industry
Duration: 4 months contract, extendable upto 24 months
Location: Summit, NJ 

Note:
The client has the right-to-hire you as a permanent employee at any time during or after the end of the contract.

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Batch Preparation:

Formulate and prepare batches of consumer health products according to established protocols and specifications.
Conduct experiments and trials to optimize formulations and improve product quality.

Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of batch formulations, processes, and results in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Ensure all records are up-to-date and easily retrievable for audits and quality assurance reviews.

Quality Control:
Monitor and evaluate batch quality throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to investigate and resolve any discrepancies or product issues.

Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and production, to streamline processes and enhance product development.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing improvements in laboratory practices and methodologies.

Research & Development:
Assist in the development of new products and formulations by conducting research and analyzing market trends.
Stay current with industry advancements and best practices to incorporate innovative techniques into the batch preparation process.
Laboratory Techniques, documentation, formulation development, quality control methods, attention to detail, problem-solving, communication skills, teamwork and collaboration, adaptability, time management.
Candidate with prior consumer health products experience is required.
Microsoft office suite, lab notebook management, handling of lab equipment
BS Degree required
