Part-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for stocking the concession stands before and during the event.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Stock all food and beverage points of sale before and during the event using the POS system generated transfer slips.
  • Assist in receiving food and beverage deliveries and ensures rotation of all inventory using FIFO procedures.
  • Ensure an orderly and clean warehouse and inventory storage areas.
  • Notify management when inventory needs arise and assure necessary inventory is on hand and available.
  • Maintain and reconcile all pertinent logs and transfer sheets and ensure that all transfers are documented.
  • Ensure that proper sanitations procedures are followed.
  • Collect and discard trash and cardboard before, during and after events.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

WORK CONTACTS:
Event by event contact with the Warehouse Manager, Concession Supervisors, and all other Arena employees
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL EFFORT:
This position requires stooping, lifting, pushing and pulling. Moving and transporting of kegs of beer, weighing up to 170 lbs is required. Substantial walking and manual dexterity to operate warehouse and office equipment such as a computer is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works mainly in the warehouse and food and beverage storage areas as well as the main concourse and throughout the facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must possess basic math skills and a working knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and inventory handling procedures
  • Must possess a basic knowledge of warehouse and concession equipment and the ability to work quickly
  • Experience in a food and beverage or warehouse setting helpful
  • Must possess the able to read and understand safety rules
  • Must possess the ability to stoop, lift, push, and pull, move and transport kegs of beer weighing up to 170 pounds, walk for long periods of time, and manual dexterity to operate warehouse equipment
  • Must possess the ability to work hours as dictated by events
  • Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, work as a team, and have reliable transportation
  • Must possess the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Must practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and complete any company-wide safety training and any additional job specific training
  • Must pass a HireRight background check in accordance with company policy
