JOB TITLE: Warehouse Manager
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

POSITION TYPE: Salaried

LOCATION: Greenville, SC

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Greenville warehouse and overseeing facility-related functions to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-organized operation. This role provides leadership to the warehouse team while driving performance in inventory control, shipping and receiving, process improvement, safety compliance, and customer service. The Warehouse Manager is accountable for maintaining operational excellence, supporting business objectives, and ensuring the warehouse operates in alignment with company standards, budget expectations, and service level requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

  • Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, shipping, and cycle counting of inventory and equipment.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through proper receiving, tracking, storage, and shipment processes.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness in accordance with 5S standards and company safety requirements.
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality to ensure operational goals and customer expectations are consistently met.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory control, quality, safety, and cost management.
  • Create and maintain weekly and monthly operational reports, including key performance metrics and inventory-related reporting.
  • Serve as the escalation point for operational issues, customer concerns, and internal challenges related to warehouse activities.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, develop, and provide day-to-day direction to the warehouse and depot team.
  • Establish clear performance expectations through regular communication, training, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to provide coaching, reinforce performance, and address development opportunities.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing team members to ensure consistent execution of processes and procedures.
  • Make staffing recommendations, participate in hiring decisions, and administer performance management and corrective action as needed in accordance with company policies.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Financial & Operational Performance

  • Drive execution against key performance indicators (KPIs), service levels, and operational goals.
  • Support budget and P&L objectives by managing labor, warehouse processes, vendor relationships, and facility-related costs.
  • Continuously evaluate operational practices to ensure the warehouse is operating efficiently while meeting quality and service expectations.

Facilities & Vendor Management

  • Oversee facility-related operations to ensure the warehouse environment is safe, functional, and well-maintained.
  • Manage relationships with facility service vendors and regularly review service levels, pricing, and overall value to ensure cost-effective support.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and address building-related issues in a timely manner to minimize operational disruption.

Customer & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of customer requirements and end-user expectations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, project teams, customer support, and leadership to ensure seamless execution and world-class service delivery.
  • Serve as a customer-facing representative when needed to support operational alignment, issue resolution, and overall customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or operations management.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn systems, tools, and operational processes.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, influence change, and drive process improvement.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Minimum of 3โ€“5 years of warehouse, distribution, or operations experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility preferred.
