Job Description
Our Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Commercial Operations Specialist based in our corporate office. This role serves as a key partner to the VP of Wholesale Americas, supporting the growth and performance of Pomellato Americas wholesale business, with a particular focus on supporting department store account management. The position combines commercial operations, account support, business analytics, and cross-functional coordination to ensure the successful execution of wholesale strategies and exceptional client service.
How you will contribute:
Support the relationship with strategic authorized retail partners, especially department store partners, ensuring outstanding service and execution of commercial initiatives to support growth of the accounts;
Manage EDI process for UPC & SKU's
Prepare and manage wholesale proposals, assortments, and commercial documentation for retail partners;
Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and annual sales performance reporting across department store and wholesale accounts, leveraging insights to identify opportunities, support commercial decision-making, and drive business growth.
Act as a trusted business partner to the VP of Wholesale, helping prioritize initiatives, resolve business challenges, and drive execution of commercial strategies across the department designed to increase sales and market share;
Partner with Regional Sales Manager and VP, Wholesale in preparation of product presentations and trainings;
Manage incentives for the Wholesale Network;
Manage the tracking of RTVs (Returns to Vendor), merchandise swaps, consignments, and related wholesale operational processes;
Act as client service back up in the absence of Regional Sales Managers;
Act as Customer Service Back Up for Wholesale in absence of Customer Service;
Work on special projects as needed;
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Who you are:
2+ years of previous experience in wholesale operations, sales support, commercial operations, merchandising, or luxury retail
Strong commercial mindset with a passion for luxury retail, client relationship management, and business development
Strong business and analytical acumen with the ability to translate sales data into actionable opportunities and recommendations
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is a must
Experience utilizing sales reporting and performance metrics to support account management and business growth initiatives
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building capabilities
Experience working with department stores and wholesale partners preferred
Experience with EDI systems and retail operations required
Luxury, fashion, jewelry, or accessories industry experience preferred
Ability to travel as business needs require
