Job description

Generics Business Management
  • Support development and execution of the Generics commercial strategy; translate priorities into operational plans
  • Provide revenue, margin, and trend analysis to inform P&L decisions
  • Monitor market/competitor/pricing dynamics
  • Track sales performance, forecast demand, and deliver regular business reports
  • Analyze profitability, customer performance, and market trends
  • Build competitive intelligence (market trends, forecasting accuracy, chargebacks, product compliance) and identify opportunities/threats
  • Identify products approaching short-dated status monthly; finalize product list with commercial/marketing to generate sales
Supply Chain & Operations Coordination
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery
  • Optimize demand forecasting using historical trends and new awards/losses
Retail Product Management
  • Oversee allocation strategies, inventory management, demand planning, compliance monitoring, and failure-to-supply management
  • Support annual marketing budgets, long-range plans, pricing reviews, and lifecycle extension opportunities
  • Improve replenishment processes; minimize shortages and wastage
Minimize Exposure With Trade Returns/Chargeback Claims
  • Reduce payouts via timely analysis/decisions on valid/invalid/dispute claims
  • Partner with Finance/Trade Finance on claim review and policy coordinationRecommend dispute vs. accept; close claims with commercial/marketing and inform Pricing
  • Produce monthly/quarterly/annual claim summaries; execute allocation change requests
Education & Experience
  • Bachelorโ€™s in business, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA/advanced degree preferred)
  • 4โ€“5 years (6+ for Sr. Manager) in trade/commercial ops, pricing, or sales analytics in pharma/generics; generics trade strongly preferred
  • Experience with chargebacks, rebates, contract compliance, and/or trade returns
  • ERP/CRM and trade systems; pharma market data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony Health, MMIT)
  • BI/data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred

  • Base salary range: $130Kโ€“150K; eligible for short-term and long-term incentive programs
