We'reย looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-orientedย Assistant Manager, Salesย Operationsย to support our North America Commercial organization. In this role,ย you'llย serve as a key operational partner, leading the execution of national trade shows,ย maintainingย our product catalog, and supporting sales enablement initiatives that help our commercial teams succeed.ย 

You'llย collaborateย acrossย Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and external vendors to ensure flawless execution of customer-facing events and operational processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, building relationships, and bringing projects from concept to completion.ย 

Reporting directly to the Director of Commercial Operations,ย you'llย playย an important roleย in enabling the success of our Commercial organization.ย 

What You'll Doย 

  • Lead National Trade Shows & Commercial Eventsย - Own the planning and execution of 3-4 national convenience trade shows and 2-3 industry events each year from start to finish.ย Youย will:ย 

    • Manage all aspects of trade show project planning, timelines, and executionย ย 

    • Partner with our third-party exhibit vendor to oversee booth design, graphics,ย logistics, installation, and dismantleย ย 

    • Coordinate weekly planning meetings and project kickoffsย ย 

    • Manageย boothย services including electrical, internet, rigging, furniture rentals, shipping, and material handlingย ย 

    • Register BIC as an exhibitor and coordinate attendee registrations and hotel accommodationsย ย 

    • Partner with Marketing to developย boothย graphics and digital displays that elevate our brand presenceย ย 

    • Coordinate product shipments, booth inventory, and event materials while ensuring compliance with shipping regulationsย ย 

    • Manage trade show budgets, invoices, and post-event reconciliationsย ย 

    • Lead post-show debriefs to capture learnings andย identifyย opportunities for improvementย ย 

  • Support Sales & Commercial Operationsย -ย Help keep our Commercial organization running efficiently by supporting key operational initiatives.ย Youย will:ย 

    • Own andย maintainย the product catalog across multiple product categories, ensuring accuracy and consistencyย ย 

    • Support the delivery and coordination of sales training programsย ย 

    • Manage trade advertising activities and related administrative processesย ย 

    • Coordinate product samples, customer giveaways, promotional materials, and branded swagย ย 

    • Support planning and execution of the annual NAM Commercial Meetingย ย 

    • Partner cross-functionally on projects that improve commercial operations and sales effectivenessย ย 

    • Provide operational support for ad hoc Commercial and Sales initiativesย 

What You'll Needย 

  • Bachelor's degreeย requiredย ย 

  • 2-3ย years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Project Management, Event Management, or a similar role within aย Consumer Packagedย Goods (CPG) organizationย ย 

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyย ย 

  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailย ย 

  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate with internal and external partnersย ย 

  • Strong communicationย and interpersonal skillsย ย 

  • Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesย ย 

  • Proficiencyย in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suiteย ย 

  • Ability to work independentlyย while managingย competing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentย

  • Continuouslyย identifyย opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall commercial experienceย ย

ย Travelย 

  • Approximately 6 travels/year, primarily for national trade shows, commercial meetings, and key customer events.ย 

BIC's NAM headquarters will be located in Norwalk, Connecticut. Scheduled to open in 2027, the new headquarters is designed to foster a collaborative, flexible, and modern work environment while supporting a hybrid work model.

Annual base salary around 75,000 USD
