Location: Austin, TX

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k

Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing organization in the commercial construction and development services space, seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead operations across a multisite portfolio in the Austin, TX market. Austin remains one of the fastest-growing development markets in the country, and this role offers a unique opportunity to drive expansion, capture new market share, and build a high-performing team during a period of significant regional growth.

If you have a strong background leading commercial construction or development operations, owning P&L across multiple project sites, and growing territory through new business development, this is your chance to take ownership of a branch and shape its future.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations across multiple active commercial construction and development project sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and full compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Own branch Profit & Loss (P&L) โ€” revenue generation, cost control, project-level financial forecasting, and margin management across a multisite portfolio
  • Drive territory expansion and market share growth in Austin's commercial construction and development market through strategic business development
  • Manage and support project and sales teams to build and maintain a strong pipeline of commercial development opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry events, builder/developer networking groups, and community engagements to expand brand presence and win new business
  • Maintain branch facilities, equipment, and physical assets, ensuring job sites and operations remain professional, organized, and well-resourced
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, general contractors, property owners, and key business partners across multiple sites
  • Proactively address client concerns and identify opportunities for additional service lines and cross-selling
  • Champion Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards across all job sites โ€” monitor performance, implement risk-reduction strategies, and build a culture of safety and accountability
  • Recruit, train, develop, and lead field and operations teams across multiple project sites
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular coaching and performance reviews, and build long-term team capability
  • Track performance against KPIs across all sites and drive continuous operational improvements to maximize profitability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field โ€” or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership capacity within commercial construction, development, or a related multisite operational environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing P&L across multiple sites or projects
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards, EHS compliance, and risk management in construction/development environments
  • Proven leadership experience โ€” team development, performance management, and building high-performing field and project teams
  • Track record of driving business development, expanding territory, and capturing new market share in a growth market
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
