Associated Bank is expanding into new markets and seeking experienced, entrepreneurial middle market bankers to build and grow a commercial portfolio from the ground up. This role offers the opportunity to shape market presence, deepen client relationships, and drive meaningful growth. You'll partner across the bank to deliver tailored financial solutions and expand market share.

What you'll do:

  • Build and grow a Middle Market Commercial portfolio through proactive prospecting, COI development, and client retention strategies.
  • Drive loan, deposit, and fee income growth by identifying opportunities and executing disciplined calling plans.
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver holistic solutions across Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Private Banking, and Wealth.
  • Analyze client financials and structure credit solutions aligned with risk and policy guidelines.
  • Manage portfolio risk and ensure compliance with credit policy, regulatory standards, and business strategy.
  • Present credit recommendations and participate in loan approval processes in partnership with Portfolio Management.
  • Engage in community and business organizations to build brand presence and generate referral networks.

What you'll bring:

  • 8+ years of commercial banking or B2B business development experience
