As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with us, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to gauge patients' mental health status, strengths, and needs, ensuring individualized care plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to promote recovery and emotional resilience.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach in treating patients.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management to empower informed decision-making.
• Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing diverse therapeutic modalities to cater to varying patient needs.
• Developing comprehensive treatment plans in partnership with patients, encapsulating their personal goals and preferences to foster a sense of ownership in their recovery.
• Assisting patients in navigating the mental health system, advocating for their rights and ensuring access to necessary resources.
• Coordinating and leading therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings to enhance patient engagement and support transitioning to community living.

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, and addiction issues. Each patient brings a unique narrative and challenge to the therapeutic journey, and your expertise will play a critical role in guiding them toward meaningful recovery and resilience.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and effective crisis intervention strategies.
• The ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.

We prefer candidates who have a minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health capacity, preferably within a community health or outpatient clinic setting. Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and experience in advocating for patients navigating complex mental health systems will be viewed favorably.
