Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for patients' rights and needs in navigating the mental health system to ensure access to appropriate services and resources.
  • Lead therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings to facilitate continuous patient engagement and edification.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions in accordance with organizational policies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will help support their mental health recovery journeys and contribute to their overall quality of life. Understanding the unique factors affecting each individualโ€”from socioeconomic backgrounds to cultural influencesโ€”is crucial for effective therapy.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses, evidence-based practices, and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Adept in remote therapy techniques and digital communication tools.
  • Exceptional collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of direct mental health counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or telehealth setting.
  • Experience with the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) interventions.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth software for documentation and client management.
