The Family and Kids Behavioral Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including psychosocial assessments and diagnostic interviews, to effectively identify client needs and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that respect their individual needs, life experiences, and cultural backgrounds.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques in various formats: individual, couples, family, and group sessions. Techniques may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) as well as solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
• Provide urgent crisis intervention to clients in acute distress, working alongside healthcare teammates to ensure continuous and effective care.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant clinical documentation, which includes writing progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, adhering to regulatory guidelines and clinic policies.
• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, equipping them with skills and strategies to manage their symptoms effectively.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly assess treatment efficacy through outcome measures, adjusting plans as needed to promote positive client outcomes.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health to continuously improve service delivery.
• Adhere to ethical practices, ensuring client confidentiality and respectful engagement at all times.

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents, along with their families, who may be experiencing various mental health challenges stemming from trauma, behavioral issues, or emotional distress. Our culturally sensitive approach respects each client’s unique background, promoting healing in an inclusive environment. You will directly contribute to changing lives by providing personalized paths to understanding and recovery.

• A Master's degree in Social Work is required.
• An active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proficiency for building trust and rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Experience in a mental health setting, particularly with children and families.

The Family and Kids Behavioral Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $84,000, contingent on experience and qualifications.
