Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Aftersales Engineer to join our growing team. This role is focused on the deployment, installation, debugging, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of AGV/AGF (Automated Guided Forklift) systems at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in dynamic customer environments. Key Responsibilities

Project Deployment & Implementation:

• Perform onsite deployment, installation, and commissioning of AGV/AGF systems at customer facilities

• Conduct system debugging, testing, and optimization to ensure proper functionality and performance

• Troubleshoot technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, and software components of AGV systems

• Develop and follow project schedule plans for customer projects, ensuring timely completion and delivery

• Track, record, and summarize AGV operational status during onsite project implementation

Customer Support & Training:

• Provide comprehensive customer training on AGV/AGF operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Communicate and coordinate with customers to resolve technical problems and address requirements

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships

• Collect and provide timely feedback on customer requirements and improvement suggestions

Aftersales Service & Maintenance:

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades on installed AGV/AGF equipment

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to maximize equipment uptime

• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate parts replacement as needed

• Respond to customer service requests promptly and efficiently

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including installation reports, test results, and customer training materials

• Regularly report project progress, technical issues, and customer feedback to project managers

• Document troubleshooting procedures and create technical knowledge base articles

• Maintain accurate service records and work order documentation

Continuous Improvement:

• Continuously improve project management skills and technical expertise

• Identify opportunities to enhance customer service levels and operational efficiency

• Share best practices and lessons learned with the technical team

• Complete other tasks and special projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or related technical field

• Strong technical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency with CAD, SolidWorks, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office software

• Excellent learning ability and willingness to continuously develop technical skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Enthusiastic work attitude with strong adaptability and stress resistance

• Strong teamwork spirit and customer service awareness

• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 50-75%) to customer sites

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred:

• Experience in electrical automation industry or Field Application Engineering (FAE)

• Hands-on experience with AGV, AGF (Automated Guided Forklift), or forklift maintenance and repair

• Knowledge of robotics, autonomous vehicles, or material handling equipment

• Experience with PLC programming, industrial controls, or automation systems

• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting methodologies

• Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus
