Job description

Center for Cancer Care (CCC) Nursing Manager will: oversee the management of Clinic, Infusion, and Research Registered Nurse colleagues and nursing practice throughout the outpatient cancer program. Collaborate with the Director of Cancer Services and Vice President to develop and monitor the budget, policies and procedures, and to ensure efficient standard work and performance of CCC. Responsible for managing and coordinating patient care throughout all divisions of CCC including physical, psychosocial and spiritual aspects in alignment with the manager of integrative care; work closely with practice physicians to establish and maintain consistent standards of care; foster communication to enhance patient care and clinic functions and problem-solve in a proactive manner; responsible for clinic adherence to all legal, regulatory and inspecting agency requirements including the Indiana State Board of Health, federal agencies including OSHA, CLIA and EEOC and credentialing agencies including JCAHO, COLA, CoC, NCQA. The Nursing Manager will have reporting responsibilities to the CNO aligning nursing practice throughout the institution.

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Current RN license in the State of Indiana, BSN
  • Minimum Experience: 1 or more years of leadership experience
  • Preferred Experience: 3 years of managerial experience including management of clinical and non-clinical personnel, familiarity with nursing practice 
  • Certifications Required: CPR certification.  Oncology Nursing Society Membership strongly encouraged.
  • Certifications Preferred: OCN and/or NEA-BC.
