Trane Technologies has an exciting new opportunity to join our organization as a Service Account Executive within our Life Science Solutions business! The Service Account Executive is responsible for developing, managing, and growing customer relationships focused on service agreements, maintenance solutions, and aftermarket support. This role works closely with customers inclusive of healthcare, pharma, biotech, academic/research, and CDMO organizations to understand their operational needs, identify service opportunities, and deliver solutions that improve equipment performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

The Service Account Executive serves as a trusted advisor to current and prospective customers by promoting service offerings, responding to customer inquiries, and recommending tailored solutions. This position drives revenue growth through contract renewals, service agreement sales, and expansion of account relationships while ensuring a high level of customer service.

The role also involves preparing proposals, negotiating pricing and contract terms within established authority, coordinating with internal operations and service teams, and supporting the successful execution of service commitments. In addition, the Service Account Executive develops account plans, monitors customer activity, and adapts sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Identify, pursue, and close service agreement, maintenance, and aftermarket sales opportunities.
  • Promote service solutions that improve customer equipment performance, uptime, and efficiency.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and recommend solutions based on business needs and operational goals.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements for customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery of services within established limits of authority.
  • Partner with service, operations, and account teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Support renewal strategies and drive retention of existing service agreements.
  • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within assigned accounts.
  • Identifies and qualifies equipment replacement or upgrade opportunities within assigned accounts and passes leads to the appropriate equipment sales team to support customer needs and drive overall business growth.
  • Develop account plans and sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and customer information in company systems.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service through strong communication, follow-up, and product/service knowledge.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, service sales, technical solutions, in a related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and grow accounts through consultative selling.
  • Strong understanding of service agreements, maintenance programs, and aftermarket solutions.
  • Ability to identify customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and communicate value effectively.
  • Experience preparing proposals, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and closing sales within established authority levels.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal partners.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention goals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across sales, service, and operations teams to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools used to manage pipeline and customer activity.
  • This role requires regular travel within the metropolitan Baltimore and Washington, D.C. geography to visit customer sites, support account management activities, develop relationships, and drive sales growth across the region.
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

$114,000.00 - $173,109.99
