Job description

Opportunity Information

We are recruiting a full-time cardiologist with expertise in heart failure and cardio-oncology to join our vibrant, full-spectrum cardiology practice which is part of a large 2000+ multi-specialty medical group in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Our outpatient clinics are located in Palo Alto, San Carlos and Santa Clara with admitting privileges at Stanford and El Camino hospitals, with close working relationships with all Sutter locations in the Bay Area.

We offer the complete range of cardiovascular care, with specialists in heart failure, coronary artery disease, electrophysiology, inherited CV disease, prevention and advance cardiac imaging with on-site dedicated coronary CT and MRI scanners.

Candidate should have specific training in cardio-oncology (or at least 2 years of clinical work), ideally with leadership experience to further develop our current cardio-oncology program, and expertise in managing systolic and diastolic heart failure of various etiologies.

Post-fellowship training in HF is highly desirable but Advanced Heart Failure certification not required. Our current program has significant support with a dedicated program manager, experienced NPs, philanthropic funding, and Sutter Administration, with future goals of developing a robust data infrastructure for ongoing research endeavors including reduction of readmissions and telemedicine management.
