GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Lansing, Michigan.

Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Shift times generally 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM/8:00 AM to 3:00 PM/4:00 PM, may vary for patient appointments
• No weekend requirements
• On-call requirements from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM as needed
• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Responsible for the safe and accurate delivery of radiation therapy using Elekta linear accelerators
• Experience supporting ViewRay systems required
• Proficiency in MOSAIQ documentation required
• Elekta and MOSAIQ experience are strictly required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Graduated from a JRCERT accredited radiation therapy program required
• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-T
• Skills required include: External Beam Therapy, Radiation Safety, RayStation, Simulation of Treatment Sites, Custom Molds, Compute dose distribution, Billing for treatment types and devices, Assist with Intracavity/Interstitial Administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Experience with Adult Outpatient and Pediatric Cancer patients required
• Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of profile submission and will not be approved after contract is signed

Facility:

This facility is an acute care hospital and regional health system housing a Radiation Oncology department. The department is equipped with Elekta linear accelerators and ViewRay systems, supporting a comprehensive range of radiation therapy services. Interdisciplinary support is available including phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary services.
