Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the CNO, the Director is responsible for assisting in planning, administering, and evaluating the operations of Women’s Services. Shares accountability for the standards and scope of nursing practice. The individual manages the flow of patients and information to expedite care, collaborating with the physicians. Demonstrates clinical competency and nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care. 

This position is accountable to assess, implement and evaluate the overall clinical/administrative function of the Women and Infant Services to assure timely and effective patient care in accordance with appropriate policies and procedures, budget constraints. 

What qualifications you will need:
  • Maintains Current Utah RN license. Compact licenses accepted. 
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 2 years in a nursing supervisory position (including Clinical Supervisor role) with minimum 3 years clinical experience in an Labor and Delivery.  
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
  • Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • STABLE must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
