Based in our Birmingham, AL office, you'll travel throughout your assigned territory (primarily Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, and Decatur) to proactively identify, contact, and close deals with commercial facilities.

We're offering a competitive base salary of $60,000 - $80,000/year (based on experience), and with our uncapped commission structure, your earning potential could reach $90,000 to $120,000 in your first year alone!

THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel throughout your territory in a company-provided vehicle
  • Willingness to occasionally travel overnight (around once per month)
  • Preferred - 3+ years of experience in B2B outside sales with a focus on new business acquisition
  • Preferred - experience with industrial equipment, commercial construction, facility maintenance, automotive, distribution, food, chemical, or building systems sales
  • Preferred - familiarity with the overhead door, dock system, and/or life-safety industries
  • Preferred - existing relationships within relevant industries you can build on

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Typical work hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

In this remote role, you'll travel throughout Birmingham, Decatur, and Tuscaloosa to seek out prospective opportunities with commercial businesses. Your main focus will be on companies within the distribution, manufacturing, industrial, or retail space, and you'll aim to meet with decision-makers to demonstrate how our services can benefit them. We'll provide you with our Sandler-powered sales process, and you'll use these methods to build relationships with prospective clients, educate them on the value of partnering with us, and overcome objections to close deals. Your success in the field will positively impact our continual growth and grow your commission check!
