About the Role:
At Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, we have an exciting opportunity for a developer. The Developer is responsible for building, configuring, and supporting CRM solutions using the Pega platform at BCBSMA. This role contributes to delivering efficient, compliant, and scalable applications that support member services, care management, and operational workflows.
This role is eligible for our Flex Persona. For candidates local to our Boston, MA and Hingham MA offices.
Your Day to Day:
  • Develop and configure applications using the Pega CRM platform

  • Translate business and technical requirements into functional solutions with guidance from senior team members

  • Build and maintain case types, workflows, UI components, and decisioning rules in Pega

  • Assist in integrating Pega applications with APIs, databases, and third-party systems

  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies

  • Perform unit testing and support system and integration testing activities

  • Troubleshoot defects and support production issue resolution

  • Follow coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines

  • Contribute to documentation including technical design and release notes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders

We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 3-4 years of experience in software development

  • 1-2 years of experience working with the Pega CRM platform preferred

  • Basic understanding of Pega PRPC, case management, and workflows

  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations (preferred)

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Knowledge of relational databases and basic data modeling

  • Pega CSA certification preferred

Salary Range: $102,150.00 - $124,850.00

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.
