14822 – Construction Project Manager, BESS/Solar (onsite) - Juno Beach, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project.
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Occasional travel may be required to project locations and to support Development with local public hearings.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Our Client is hiring a BESS Project Manager
21046 Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
  • Experience with project management in Engineering & Construction (E&C) (5+ years);
  • Experience with battery energy storage system (BESS) or renewable energy project development;
  • Experience with project coordination across matrixed teams, including environmental, regulatory, land acquisition, and interconnection functions;
  • Experience with financial modeling for engineering and construction projects;
  • Experience with commercial contract sourcing, negotiation, and execution (geotechnical, survey, engineering, EPC/PC services);

21046 Preferred:
  • Experience with electricity markets, renewables, and/or battery storage projects;
  • Experience with PPA and GIA negotiations;
  • PMP Certification;
  • Experience with advanced Excel for financial analysis;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance/Accounting.

21046 Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Coordinate highly matrixed project development teams to ensure resources are focused on the right activities to meet project schedule;
  • Coordinate with environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, and interconnection teams to identify and incorporate all project variables;
  • Develop the project’s technical scope and optimize project variables to improve technical and financial feasibility;
  • Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations and jurisdictional needs;
  • Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement requirements, and support technical attributes for design development;
  • Develop and manage financial models, leveraging market data, and present through executive budget approvals;
  • Competitively source, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts for geotechnical, survey, engineering, and EPC/PC construction services.
