Job description

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for US customers throughout battery cell and/or pack development programsย 
  • Lead customer engagement, including technical discussions, program reviews, issue resolution, and escalation managementย 
  • Lead and facilitate technical meetings and workshops; ensure clear documentation, action tracking, and alignment with internal teams and customersย 
  • Lead cross functional teamsย throughoutย RFI/RFQsย processย and technical proposals in collaboration with engineering and commercial teamsย 
  • Lead the development of battery cell and pack programs from concept through production, coordinating closely with customers and internal cross functional teamsย 
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed program schedules, milestones, and deliverablesย 
  • Identify program risks across technical, schedule, cost, and quality and drive mitigation plansย 
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial across regionsย to meet program timing, deliverables and costย 
  • Regularly communicate program status, risks, and key decisions to engineering and executive leadershipย 
  • Identify and drive innovative solutions to overcome technical and program obstacles while maintaining schedule adherenceย 
  • Prioritize and track cross-functional action items, balancing resources, risks, and program outcomesย 
  • Support on-site customer meetings, technical workshops, and plant visits in the US and Chinaย 
  • Support DFMEA, PFMEA, DV/PV, APQP, and PPAP activities as required by customer programsย 
  • Up to 30% domestic and international travelย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineeringย (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or related discipline)ย 
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive, EV, or energy storage product developmentย 
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or equivalent customer-facing leadership rolesย 
  • Good understanding of Li-ion battery cell and/or battery pack systems, including development and validation processesย 
  • Proven experience working directly with US or global automotive OEM customersย 
  • Solid knowledge of automotive product development and launch processes, including DV/PV, APQP, and PPAPย 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical programs involving multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and evolving requirementsย 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly communicate with customers and senior leadershipย 
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as requiredย
