As a Rotational Banking Associate, you will gain handson experience across multiple areas of community banking. This unique rotational role is designed to give you exposure to retail banking, finance, and operations - helping you build a strong foundation while contributing to the daytoday success of the Bank. You'll also gain exposure to emerging tools, including AI-supported solutions, that help improve efficiency, accuracy, and service.


You'll serve as a shared resource across teams, stepping in where business needs are greatest while developing the skills and knowledge needed for longterm growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problemsolving, and learning how all areas of the bank work together.


How You'll Make a Difference - The Viking Way

Support customers and front-line operations

  • Provide backup teller coverage during peak times and scheduled absences
  • Process transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
  • Balance cash drawer and assist with endofday procedures
  • Deliver a positive, professional customer experience
  • Follow bank policies and procedures related to identification, fraud prevention, and compliance

Assist with finance and accounting functions

  • Support accounts payable processing and invoice tracking
  • Assist with monthly close activities and account reconciliations
  • Help maintain accurate financial records through data entry and verification
  • Contribute to financial reporting and general ledger support activities

Provide operational and administrative support

  • Process daily mail and assist with document organization and filing
  • Provide administrative support across multiple departments
