Job description

You will serve as a Training Instructor (EA-18G Avionics) in the Center for Naval Avia on Technical Training Unit (CNATTU) Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, WA of CNATT UNIT WHIDBEY ISLAND.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing, updating, and evaluating course curriculum, and recommends revision when needed; 2)Providing knowledge and skills necessary to perform maintenance under close supervision, to include operation, testing and inspection techniques; 3)Counseling students to determine causal factors for failing course objectives and recommend referrals to assist students in solving real perceived problems; 4) Preparing testing and remediation programs to include the organization testing instructions and provide in-service training; and 5) Compiling data, prepare status reports, and forward to staff as required.

Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled
OR
Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled
OR
Obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
