Steve Moyer Subaru is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This person will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and improving processes across all dealership accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
  • Process vehicle deals, billing, and title work accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end closing
  • Prepare financial reports and statements as needed
  • Support internal controls and compliance procedures
  • Work closely with department managers to ensure accurate reporting and data flow
  • Identify and help implement process improvements within the accounting department

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in dealership or automotive accounting
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and dealership software (e.g., CDK, Dealertrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
