The Opportunity:

IntePros Federal is identifying Key Personnel for an upcoming bid supporting PL ALTESS. We are seeking a Senior Applications Team Lead to be named in our proposal. This role will oversee multiple application modernization projects across ALTESS enterprise environments.

The Senior Applications Team Lead will manage requirements gathering, backlog refinement, sprint planning, resource coordination, quality assurance reviews, and final acceptance of development deliverables. The role includes overseeing staffing across multiple development efforts, tracking budgets and burn rates, and maintaining a master project schedule to ensure timely delivery and prevent project collisions.

  • Required: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Location:

  • Radford, VA - onsite

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline preferred
  • Equivalent years of experience managing application development projects may be considered

Responsibilities - Activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead multiple application modernization projects using Agile development best practices.
  • Conduct requirements gathering, define scope, and estimate Level of Effort (LOE) for development tasks.
  • Draft development stories, facilitate backlog reviews, and lead sprint planning meetings.
  • Coordinate resources across multiple development teams and provide staffing recommendations for new or expanding projects.
  • Review Quality Assurance (QA) results and perform final acceptance of development deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets, track burn rates, and ensure projects remain within financial targets.
  • Maintain a master project schedule, reprioritize efforts, and prevent project collisions.
  • Communicate project status directly to customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and modernization enhancements within development teams.
  • Ensure alignment with DevSecOps strategies, Agile methodologies, and enterprise modernization objectives.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams and junior project managers.

Qualifications Required:

  • Three or more years experience with DevSecOps development strategies
  • Three or more years experience with Agile development processes and tools
  • Three or more years experience with Quality Assurance (QA) application testing
  • Three or more years experience managing budgets and resources across multiple application projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience effectively managing multiple largeโ€‘scale projects

Qualifications Desired:

  • Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
