Job Summary:
Copeland is a global climate technologies company focused on sustainability and efficient HVACR solutions. They are seeking a Product Management Analyst to drive growth in the residential market segment by gathering market intelligence and supporting product and market management strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Act as internal expert on market trends, dynamics, and customer requirements
• Lead market research – including market segmentation, account classification, market size and growth - and assimilating findings to guide market and business strategy
• Use competitive, industry, and regulatory trends to determine market entry and roadmap that then feeds product / solution roadmaps
• Characterize business opportunities, defining customer personas, and developing channel engagement strategies
• Analyze systems, total cost of ownership, and other value assessments to inform value propositions
• Develop thought leadership and relationships with key opinion leaders, with industry event participation
• Enable customer buying journey through application & industry intelligence
• Inform and guide product managers to capitalize on market entry opportunities
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree with equivalent business experience
• Three (3) years’ experience in product management, marketing, product development, technical sales, or engineering.
• Ability to work with business-to-business products
• Excellent written and oral communication
Preferred:
• HVACR industry experience and knowledge of HVACR systems
• Technical education / experience
• MBA
