Job Title:

Manufacturing Technology and Continuous Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Manufacturing Technology and Continuous Improvement Specialist to spearhead technical excellence across our baby diaper and baby pants production lines. This role is pivotal in driving troubleshooting capabilities, developing technical training programs, and overseeing process changes and new technology implementations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with deep expertise in structured problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving

  • Act as the site’s primary resource for troubleshooting complex equipment and process issues using methodologies such as 5 Why, PDCA, and DMAIC.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance machine reliability.

Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization

  • Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to sustain operational excellence.

Technology Integration & Implementation

  • Lead the evaluation, planning, and deployment of new technologies and process changes.
  • Ensure smooth integration of new equipment and systems into existing production lines.
  • Validate performance improvements and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

Training & Development

  • Design and deliver technical training programs for operators and maintenance teams.
  • Assess training effectiveness and update content to align with evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with HR and external partners to provide specialized technical courses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in hygiene or consumer goods.
  • Strong expertise in structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, and process control technologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in baby diaper or hygiene product manufacturing.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
