Care Systems Administrator - Position Overview:   

  • The Care Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of Canopy's care systems and related applications.
  • This role works closely with operational, clinical, compliance, reporting, and technology stakeholders to ensure systems remain reliable, secure, properly configured, and aligned with organizational needs.
  • The Care Systems Administrator supports application enhancements, testing, upgrades, reporting activities, user access administration, workflow optimization, and issue resolution while promoting data integrity, system stability, regulatory compliance, and effective system utilization throughout the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, maintain, and support assigned care systems and related applications.
  • Provide day-to-day application support and serve as a primary resource for user questions, issues, and service requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, configuration, reporting, and data-related issues.
  • Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, implementations, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Configure and maintain user accounts, role-based security, permissions, and system access controls.
  • Support testing, validation, and quality-assurance activities associated with system upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes.
  • Assist with change-control activities, documentation requirements, deployment preparation, and post-implementation support.
  • Support reporting, dashboards, extracts, and data-validation activities by ensuring system configuration and data usage are accurate and consistent.
  • Assist with the maintenance of forms, assessments, templates, workflows, and other system configuration components.
  • Document system configurations, support activities, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and operational processes.
  • Monitor system performance, recurring issues, support trends, and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide end-user training, coaching, and support to encourage effective and consistent system utilization.
  • Coordinate support activities with software vendors, consultants, and technology partners as needed.
  • Escalate complex technical, operational, reporting, or configuration issues to the Care Systems Lead or other appropriate resources.
  • Assist with integration testing, data validation, workflow verification, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support data integrity initiatives through monitoring, validation, correction, and quality-review activities.
  • Assist operational stakeholders with identifying opportunities to improve workflows and system utilization.
  • Ensure appropriate handling of protected health information (PHI), confidential information, and organizational data in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with established documentation, testing, security, support, and operational standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience supporting, configuring, administering, or maintaining enterprise applications, EHR systems, or similar healthcare technology platforms preferred.
  • Experience with CareLogic, Evolv, or comparable care-management systems preferred.
  • Strong understanding of application support, troubleshooting, system configuration, testing, and end-user support practices.
  • Working knowledge of EHR workflows, forms, assessments, reporting structures, data relationships, and operational processes.
  • Experience supporting user access management, system security, change control, upgrades, releases, training, and documentation activities preferred.
  • Familiarity with reporting concepts, SQL, integrations, APIs, and data-validation practices preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, security principles, access management, protected health information (PHI), and healthcare technology environments.
  • Strong communication, organizational, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn new technologies, organizational workflows, application functionality, and industry best practices.
