Job description

In CT Scanner at Main Campus Children's of Alabama
Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Salary Position M-F 8:30 am to 5 pm.
Summary:
The CT Manager is a healthcare professional responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the CT department. This role ensures that CT services are delivered efficiently, safely and in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. The CT Manager performs all duties necessary to work in areas of responsibility with decision making ability to make independent judgments. The CT Manager assures appropriate patient care management and adjusts daily operations to meet the needs of a changing working environment. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined below, expected to demonstrate exemplary leadership, verbal and written skills. To accomplish the overall hospital mission, expected to exhibit integrity, teamwork, innovation, commitment to personal development and commitment to children.

Education
  • Essential: Associates Degree in Radiology
  • Nonessential: Bachelors degree in Radiology or other health related field

Experience
  • Essential: 5 years' work experience in CT; 1 year of supervisory or management experience

Credentials
  • Essential: Registered Radiology Technologist and CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Non-Essential: ARRT registered in another imaging modality

CT is an imaging modality that uses x-rays to produce cross-sectional images. The CT team at Children's of Alabama is where your expertise can make a profound difference. You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on safety, precision, and minimizing radiation exposure for our young patients. The CT suite works closely with the Anesthesia department and child life specialists to provide the Ambient Experience. This helps to reduce patient anxiety.
