We are seeking a Specialist I, IT Service Management Office - ITOM & CMDB to lead and mature our ServiceNow IT Operations Management capabilities across a complex hybrid technology environment. In this role, you will serve as the enterprise authority for CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and operational visibility, enabling proactive service management and data-driven decision making. Working closely with cross-functional technology teams and service providers, you will help strengthen service resilience, improve operational efficiency, and support Enbridge's digital transformation journey.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the strategy, governance, and optimization of ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and integrations.

  • Own the enterprise CMDB and Configuration Management practice, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, compliance, and lifecycle management.

  • Define and enforce CMDB governance standards, data quality controls, identification and reconciliation rules, and audit requirements.

  • Design and optimize Discovery, Cloud Discovery, and Service Mapping solutions across hybrid technology environments.

  • Develop and enhance ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST/SOAP integrations.

  • Lead the architecture, development, and support of ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB-related solutions and integrations.

  • Drive automation and operational intelligence initiatives to improve service visibility, efficiency, and reliability.

  • Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Network, and Application teams to maintain accurate service maps, CI relationships, and dependency models.

  • Leverage CMDB and service mapping data to support Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management processes.

  • Act as a senior technical advisor during major incidents, accelerating root cause analysis and service restoration.

  • Develop ITOM and CMDB roadmaps, standards, and best practices to advance platform maturity.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship while aligning ITOM and CMDB capabilities with business and operational objectives.

Who You Are:
  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, with 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow, IT Operations Management, Configuration Management, Enterprise Service Management, or related disciplines.

  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM and ITSM modules, including: CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Service Graph Connectors, Cloud Discovery, Operational Intelligence/AIOps

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and governing enterprise CMDB and Configuration Management solutions within large and complex hybrid technology environments.

  • Demonstrated ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript, Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer etc.

  • Experience designing and supporting integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise monitoring, observability, infrastructure, cloud, and asset management platforms.

  • Strong understanding of CI lifecycle management, data governance, identification and reconciliation rules, service mapping, and dependency modeling.

  • Knowledge of cloud, infrastructure, networking, databases, virtualization, and application architectures, including platforms such as Azure and AWS.

  • Experience supporting ITIL-based processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop governance frameworks, standards, metrics, and service maturity initiatives while influencing stakeholders across multiple teams.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with a strong customer focus and attention to detail.

Preferred:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (Discovery), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (Service Mapping), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITOM).

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent advanced ServiceNow certifications.

  • ITIL v4 Managing Professional, ITIL Expert, or equivalent IT Service Management certifications.
