Job description

ProTech IT Solutions, a New Charter Technologies Company, is a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in White Plains, NY. We are seeking a skilled and client-focused System Administrator to join our team. This role supports clients both remotely and on-site, primarily in Westchester County and New York City.
We're looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and technically adept professional who thrives in a team setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional IT support and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients with professionalism and urgency.

  • Proactively monitor and maintain client systems to prevent downtime and improve performance.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments and Windows 10 workstations.

  • Administer Office 365 environments including user management and email configurations.

  • Configure and support network protocols such as TCP/IP and ensure secure connectivity.

  • Utilize RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise) for system monitoring and management.

  • Assist in cloud infrastructure support including Azure and AWS environments.

  • Document technical procedures and client interactions in ticketing systems.

  • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
