LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Tuesdays and Fridays 1pm to 5pm - Companion Care to a widower with Parkinsons - MALE CAREGIVER PREFERRED

Job Summary: The Caregiver role is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, eating, and personal hygiene. Caregivers typically work with elderly or disabled individuals in a home setting.

About You: Reliable, strong communicator, team player, follows directions, problem solver, nurturer 

Caregiver Compensation and Benefits: 

  • Competitive Pay:  $20-22/hr or based on experience
  • Flexible Working Hours

Caregiver Responsibilities: 

  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
  • Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and toileting
  • Shopping trips & light housekeeping duties, meal prep
  • Medication Reminders
  • Ability to act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Clear communication with clients, family members, and team members

Caregiver Requirements: 

  • Previous caregiver experience preferred 
  • Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
  • Adherence to health and safety standards
  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
  • Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
  • Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Physical endurance to complete required tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent
