The PCA Companies is seeking energetic, camera-confident Live Commerce Hosts (Independent Contractors) to present beauty and personal-care products in live shopping events broadcast from our New York City studio. This role combines on-camera hosting, real-time product education, and audience engagement � turning cosmetics, fragrance, skincare, and haircare storytelling into an entertaining, conversion-driving shopping experience. Ideal for content creators, beauty enthusiasts, influencers, makeup artists, estheticians, fragrance specialists, or brand ambassadors who know how to connect with an audience. A large following is not required.
This is an in-person role based in our NY, NY location.

Live Selling & On-Camera Hosting
  • Host high-energy TikTok Live shopping events from the PCA New York City studio on a scheduled basis
  • Demonstrate and promote cosmetics, fragrance, skincare, haircare, and personal-care products on camera
  • Explain product features, benefits, application techniques, ingredients, and scent profiles in real time
  • Create excitement and urgency around offers while staying authentic and on-brand
  • Follow prepared product information, promotional messaging, and livestream guidelines for each session

Audience Engagement & Community Interaction
  • Interact with viewers throughout each livestream � answering questions, responding to comments, and driving participation
  • Think on your feet to handle live audience questions with accuracy and personality
  • Build repeat viewership by fostering a welcoming, engaging on-air community

Preparation & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with PCA content, marketing, and studio teams to prep products, talking points, and run-of-show for scheduled livestreams
  • Stay current on beauty trends, viral products, and livestream best practices
  • Remain open to coaching and adjust on-camera style based on performance feedback

Job Requirements:
  • Livestream selling, TikTok Live/Whatnot hosting, beauty content creation, influencer marketing, makeup artistry, esthetics, fragrance sales, brand ambassador work, retail beauty sales, on-camera hosting, or public speaking
  • Energetic, expressive, and comfortable speaking on camera
  • Passionate about beauty � cosmetics, fragrance, skincare, haircare, or wellness
  • Familiarity with TikTok Live (Whatnot, Instagram Live, or YouTube experience a plus)
  • Reliable and able to be on-site at the NYC studio for scheduled sessions
  • Available for a flexible schedule, including daytime, evening, or weekend livestreams

Compensation
  • $20-$30 per hour based on experience (you will work as an independent contractor, managing your own tax obligations)
