Job description

Senior Manager, Influencer Marketing

tarte cosmetics is seeking a dynamic, creative & strategic Senior Manager of Influencer Marketing to join our team! This role is ideal for someone passionate about beauty, trends & social media who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings deep expertise in creator casting, talent partnerships, and contract negotiations. You will play a key role in supporting tarte's influencer marketing strategy, managing high-impact creator partnerships, and strengthening tarte's influencer ecosystem across platforms. This position places a strong emphasis on talent strategy, creator relations, and operational excellence within influencer marketing.

ResponsibilitiesInfluencer Strategy & Leadership
  • Support the development and execution of influencer marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and cultural relevance.
  • Partner closely with the Executive Director and cross-functional teams to support long-term influencer strategy aligned with brand priorities, launches, and evergreen initiatives.
  • Guide and support team members across influencer, partnerships & events, helping ensure strong execution and workflow efficiency.
Creator Partnerships, Talent Agencies & Negotiations
  • Identify, research, cast, vet, and brief influencer and creator partners across all tiers, with a strong focus on talent alignment and brand fit.
  • Lead and support influencer contract negotiations, including deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, timelines, and pricing, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with talent agencies and management companies, supporting campaign execution and long-term creator partnerships.
  • Continuously scout and identify emerging talent, tastemakers, and makeup artists to keep tarte at the forefront of the creator landscape.
  • Support internal processes around contracts, compliance, timelines, and approvals.
Campaign Execution & Programming
  • Support the end-to-end execution of influencer campaigns, including casting, briefing, coordination, and post-campaign performance review.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with social, brand, digital & PR teams to integrate influencer programming into broader brand moments.
  • Track campaign performance and leverage influencer analytics, competitive research, and trend insights to inform recommendations and optimizations.
Gifting, Mailers & Community Building
  • Support tarte's gifting strategy, including creative ideation, influencer selection, audience segmentation, and mailer execution.
  • Assist in developing gifting programs that help nurture strong creator relationships and long-term brand affinity.
  • Support ongoing influencer outreach, seeding, and community-building initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams.
PR & Events
  • Support PR initiatives by providing influencer insights and creator-led angles that complement product storytelling.
  • Collaborate on key industry and brand moments to inform influencer participation in events, activations, and experiential opportunities.
  • Support influencer coordination for brand and corporate events, ensuring alignment with broader brand goals.
Qualifications
  • 7-8+ years of experience in influencer marketing (in-house or agency); beauty industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in casting creators, negotiating influencer contracts, and managing talent partnerships.
  • Strong existing relationships with influencers, creators, and talent agencies.
  • Deep understanding of social trends, the creator economy, and digital-first brand building.
  • Experience supporting or leading influencer teams in a fast-paced, highly creative environment.
  • Highly organized, strategic, and proactive with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across internal teams and external partners.
