Position Overview

Change Makers LLC is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our compassionate team operating primarily in a remote capacity. Work Environment

The Social Worker position is a full-time role that offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide services from the comfort of your home or a mutually arranged location. You will engage primarily with clients through teletherapy, ensuring an accessible point of contact. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and evaluate clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Offer individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic methods to address a variety of personal challenges.
• Develop and implement personalized service plans that align with clients’ specific goals, fostering empowerment and resilience.
• Act as a strong advocate for clients’ rights, working diligently to connect them to critical resources and support systems.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of programs aimed at addressing community challenges and promote organizational learning through grant reporting and program assessment.
• Work in partnership with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance service accessibility and effectiveness.
• Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach efforts to help raise awareness and advance our mission.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work directly with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various backgrounds, families facing socioeconomic challenges, and marginalized groups in the Reno area. Your role is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood, valued, and empowered to pursue their personal and social objectives. By addressing complex social issues like trauma, addiction, and mental health, you will contribute significantly to improved outcomes for these clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required to ensure a strong theoretical foundation and practical ability.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential for practice within Nevada.
• Capable of demonstrating effective communication, empathy, and organizational skills, necessary for building strong client relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a nonprofit organization or similar settings where advocacy and direct services were key components is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and knowledge of community resources to better support clients’ needs can greatly enhance effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
